The total length of River Krka is 72.5 kilometers, from its source near Knin in the foot of the mountain Dinara to its influence in the Adriatic sea near Šibenik. Krka river in its course has 6 tributary: Butišnica, Čikola, Krčić, Kosovčica, Orašnica and river Gudača, and flows through the lake Prokljan on which there is a small island Visovac.
Thanks to its geographical position along the river Krka was found about 860 plant species from the Mediterranean, Central Europe and southern Europe, tropical and sutropskih to plant species.
No less rich is animal life where the Krka National Park is among the most valuable natural entities in Croatia. Here is inhabited by four species of animals that are on the European list of threatened species: the wild cat, otter, wolf and a large horseshoe bat.
Thanks to the tectonic fault lines, along the River Falls is also a hundred known caves, of which 40 in the National Park. Krka National Park has organized a multitude of tourist attractions. Visitors can visit the whole year Krka, and photograph and record Flora and Fauna of the National Park, and landscaped walking paths through the park or organized sailing ship lines.
In the park beside the natural beauty visitors can see and ethnological monuments, information center and souvenir shops. There is also several restaurants that serve food and beverages. Krka National Park has three entrances: Lozovac, Roški slap i Skradin.
