Park Učka with a total area of 160km2 covers the area Učka massif and partly Ćićarija, in Istria and Primorje-Gorski Kotar county. Učka Nature Park was declared the 1999th year.

The highest peaks within the park are Vojak to 1401 m and Veli Planik to 1272 m. The vegetation of the park is distinctive. Dominated forests of beech, which is located at altitudes greater than 700m, while the low-level widespread forest of black oak and elm, and chestnut forests that stretch east slopes Učka.

Of wildlife in the park Učka recorded about 27 species of mammals, of which pointed to a rare copies bear, marsh shrew, and several species of bats. Birds and reptiles that dwell in Prka unfortunately not yet been systematically investigated, we mention a few: golden eagle, griffon vulture and some velebitska lizard.

From the geological structures we mentioned Vela Draga Canyon, bloody rock, and over 170 caves and holes. Within the Nature Park Učka river Rasa, from standing water are about 20 ponds.

The traces of man go back to the Neolithic Age, and today's densely populated places are Lovranska Draga, village Zagrad, and the village of Mala and Vela Učka. Of activities within the park Učka visitors are offered: free climbing, mountain biking, hiking, trekking and recreational riding.
