Vrana lake with its area of 30km2 is the largest natural lake in Croatia. Vrana Lake and the surrounding area with a total surface of 57km2 in 1999. was declared to Nature Park.

Vrana lake lies between the two counties, Sibenik-Knin and Zadar, and extends parallel to the Adriatic coast and in some areas is only 1km from the sea. The boundaries of Vrana Lake Nature Park stretch of Pirovac to Pakoštane.

Flora Park boasts over 700 plant species of which 95 plant species protected by law. From forest are forest stressed oak in the north of the park to the forest of Aleppo pines in the south of the park.

Animal world in park is extremely rich in birds which were found about 240 species that dwell in the Park throughout the year, the 2004th was built and ornithological Camp Vrana Lake. Park and boasts many insects, butterflies and fish in the lake.

Air Vrana Lake Nature Park is a Mediterranean climate that is characterized by dry and hot summers and mild and rainy winters.

Of tourist activities on offer to visitors referred to angling, cycling furnished by a long bike trail 40 km, arranged a visit to the fishing port "Prosika" and sailing. Holidays can be found in the camp Crkvine or private accommodation nearby tourist destinations.
