Žumberak - Samoborsko gorje is among the Nature Park listed in 1999th year. With a total area of 350km2 stretches north of the Croatian, and is surrounded with the border with Slovenia on one side and with Samobor and Jastrebarsko on the other side.

Nature Park Žumberak is mostly hilly area with altitudes of 180m to the highest peak of St. Gera of 1178m.
